Economic Outlook for WA
The Hon Dr. Mike Nahan MLA, Leader of the Opposition for Western Australia and former State Treasurer will provide some insights into the short term economic outlook for WA.
Speakers
Hon Dr. Mike Nahan MLA is the Leader of the Opposition; Shadow Minister for Public Sector Management; State Development; Jobs and Trade; Federal-State Relations & Member for Riverton. Mike is the 33rd Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament of Western Australia. He is serving his third term in the Legislative Assembly where he represents the electoral district of Riverton. Immigrating to Australia in 1978 from the United States of America, Mike arrived in Western Australia in 1982. After working in different roles for a number of organisations, including the World Bank and the Institute of Public Affairs, Mike entered State Parliament in 2008. Mike holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Australian Nation University and in 2000 was awarded a Centenary Medal by the Australian Government for his contribution to public policy in Australia.
